Description & History
Queen Cutlery started in Titusville, Pennsylvania, in 1922. The Chestnut Street plant ran until 2018. Late Queen is what collectors want now: D2, nickel silver, carved / stag bone, and the closed factory. The crown-Q shield and PH-D2 tang are that last Titusville run.
The #19 is Queen’s standard trapper — 4\" closed, clip and spey. Catalog name Premium Trapper. Handle code ACSB is Aged Honey Amber Stag Bone: jigged amber bone Queen used on the late D2 line. Same steel and stamps as the Forest Edge #24 and other PH-D2 folders from that plant.
Blade etch reads Queen Cutlery Co #19 TOOL STEEL. Tang is the crowned Q, Titusville, PA, PH-D2. Factory closed. This inventory is not being made in Pennsylvania again.
