Up for sale is an authentic original 1948 World Trade Week promotional flyer/poster, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of the United States.
This striking mid-century graphic features international trade imagery including a camel, sailing ship, locomotive, canal/ship, and livestock arranged beneath the slogan “World trade MAKES good neighbors.”
Dated May 16–22, 1948, the piece reflects the post-WWII emphasis on rebuilding international commerce and strengthening trade relationships. Printed in bold red, blue, yellow and black, it has a classic late-1940s graphic design that displays beautifully.
Measures approximately 11 x 8 1/2 inches. Reverse is blank.
Condition: Shows age and handling wear including edge and corner wear, small chips/tears, creasing, a horizontal fold/storage line, and light surface marks. The central artwork and lettering remain strong and attractive. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition.
