Up for sale is an original vintage Red Cross / United Appeal poster from Greater Cleveland’s very first United Appeal campaign. The striking artwork depicts a young boy reaching for an extended hand — a timeless image of hope, compassion, and unity. This is an authentic mid-20th century charity advertising poster, not a reproduction, dating to the late 1940s or early 1950s.
Sponsored by the American Red Cross, this poster was created for Cleveland’s first United Appeal drive. Although from the early 1950s, the design strongly reflects the style and humanitarian spirit of WWII-era Red Cross and war relief posters that collectors often seek. A rare piece of historical advertising memorabilia perfect for Red Cross, Cleveland history, or mid-century poster collections.
Overall, she's a beauty!
