Beautiful vintage African safari copper tray featuring a bold wildlife border with giraffe, zebra, antelope and other animals surrounded by foliage.
The tray is heavy and non-magnetic, weighs approximately 738 grams / 1.63 lbs, and areas of wear/scratching show the same copper color beneath the surface. It therefore appears to be solid copper rather than copper-plated steel.
The reverse has a hand-engraved presentation inscription that appears to reference Harare, giving the piece an interesting Zimbabwe connection.
