- Stamped Markings: Deep, crisp lettering reads "P.S. & W. CO. SOUTHINGTON, CONN. U.S.A." on one side with the clear 1888 patent dates ("PAT. JUNE 5, JULY 10, 88"). The reverse side features the iconic P.S. & W. 5-point star logo and reads "STEEL 2-1/2 SCREW". The ornate crescent butterfly thumb-turn handle is stamped "PAT. AUG. 14, 1888".

Both clamps are in excellent antique/vintage pre-owned condition. They feature gorgeous highly legible lettering. Both tools are structurally sound with no cracks, welds, or bends in the frames. The mechanical screw threads on the p.s.&w turn smoothly, the threads on the Cincinnati has a hard spot right in the middle still works fine might have a slight warp in the threaded shaft it still works just fine just a little harder to turn and the bottom clamping pads are fully intact and functional.
