Kambaba Jasper is a rhyolite of volcanic origin and the circular \"eyes\" are formed of microscopic amphibole needles. Kambaba looks like a fossil stromatolite but it isn\'t and you may read information that states Kambaba (Crocodile) jasper is a fossil, but it is not. Fossils do not form in igneous rock.
