FOR SALE: Large collection of approximately 109 vintage Camel cigarette advertising matchbooks, primarily dating from the 1990s. This is an unusually substantial assortment containing dozens of different Camel promotional graphics, designs and variations rather than a large quantity of one identical matchbook.
The collection includes numerous Joe Camel / The Hard Pack character designs, including Eddie and other illustrated character scenes, along with Camel Genuine Taste, Camel Powered, classic Camel logo, geometric, abstract, sports, nightlife/cocktail, psychedelic and other promotional advertising designs. Many designs are represented only once, while others have two or more examples, making this a great collection for someone interested in vintage Camel advertising, tobacciana, matchbook collecting, or 1990s promotional memorabilia.

CONDITION: Vintage pre-owned collection in mixed condition. The significant majority of the matchbooks appear complete with all or substantially all of their original matches still intact, and many appear unused/unstruck. Some matchbooks have had one or more matches removed or used, and some striker strips show evidence of use. Covers exhibit varying degrees of age, storage and handling wear including edge wear, creasing, scuffs, bends, discoloration and other cosmetic imperfections. Condition varies from matchbook to matchbook. Please review all photos carefully for the exact assortment and overall condition.
