The reverse of the A. Gale medal reads in part:
“I am a Catholic. In case of accident please call a priest.”
Only the A. Gale four-way medal is confirmed as sterling silver from the visible mark. Other pieces are marked Italy or Made in Italy, or have no clearly identified precious-metal hallmark. They are therefore described as silver-tone or gold-tone metal unless otherwise marked.
Vintage pre-owned condition with tarnish, oxidation, surface scratches, discoloration, finish wear and other age-related imperfections. Some pieces may be missing chains, jump rings or other original attachments. Items have not been cleaned or polished.
