This product is a 14-piece vintage Bulgarian Troyan Drip Redware Feather Pottery tea set. The cups and saucers are hand-painted with a decorative drip pattern, glazed, and have a glossy finish. Made from clay and terracotta, these earthenware pieces have a capacity of 8 oz and are suitable for all occasions. The set includes a teapot with lid, round cups and saucers with a multicolor design, perfect for serving tea or coffee with a unique and stylish touch.
Teapot size is 7 7/8" tall x 4.5" round x 6 7/8" long (spout to handle). The lid is 2 7/8" round with a few chips (see photos).
6 Teacups are 3 1/8" round x 2 7/8" tall. One of the cups has been repaired (very badly) - see photos.
6 saucers are 5 1/8" round. They have normal wear marks. One saucer has a hairline crack (not sure if just glaze level or goes deeper) - see photos.
Also included is a small lid that measures 1 7/8" round. Probably the lid to a sugar pot.
I found this set at a recent estate sale of a couple who traveled extensively.
