No chips or cracks because this is a NEW piece of vintage retro glassware!
The center hole opening is the standard size: 1/2".
This piece of glass is not flat -- it is concave.
The glass is called 16" glass because when you measure from edge to edge it is 16".
It is approximately 1-3/8" deep!
