1884 German WMF Open Salt Dip, Cellar, Dish w/Removable Glass Liner For Sale

This lovely salt cellar stands 2 1/4\" tall and measures 3\" long x 1 5/8\" wide. Made of WMF (white metal fill), it has the look of silverplate with a nice patina. It is shaped like a swan, and holds a removable, clear glass liner. It is shown as #4301 in the book, \"5,000 Open Salts,\" by William Heacock and Patricia Johnson, and dates to the 1880s.
