1887 San Jose Granite &Marble Works (Combs, Blanchard & O’Neil, Props.) Print Ad – Cool Pix!
This print advertisement is the original version, not areproduction, and it is sourced directly from the publication in which it wasfeatured in 1887. The advertisement promoted marble and granite work by J.W. Combs, William W. Blanchard, and Timothy O’Neil’s San Jose Granite &Marble Works, located on First Street opposite the Southern Pacific railroadpassenger depot, and included a finely engraved image of the company. The namewas afterwards changed to the Western Marble and Granite Company and was eventuallyrelocated to Stockton Avenue.
Framed and displayed in your home or office, it would make afun and interesting conversation piece. Add it to your collection, display itwith related items, or use it as a reference for historical research orrestoration work. It also makes a perfect gift for you-know-who!
The advertisement scan indicates thesize is approximately 5 ½ x 4 ½ inches. However, you will receive the completepage measuring 6 ¾ x 10 ¼ inches in their entirety, intact and unaltered, notclipped or cut. The pictures were scanned from the actual, original ad you willreceive (without the AdZooks watermark, of course). The paper is clean, and free ofrips, tears, creases, stains, and mildew.
