Unique Victorian Souvenir of Atlantic City NJ fold-out photo/block print Embossed hardcover book. A unique and rare original piece in great condition for its age. The pages fold out from the front cover, measuring about 42" when fully unfolded. The book measures approx. 4" wide by 6" tall and features 12 pages in total.
The prints are slightly glossy and feature views around Atantic City including the boardwalk, piers, lighthouse, and the Hotel Brighton.Marked on the last page "Produced and copyrighted 1888 by Ward Bros, Columbus O." The Ward Brothers produced several albums of this type for various American cities and locales such as Dallas, Washington, Columbus, Denver, Topeka, and more.
This piece is an excellent addition to any Antique Americana or Victorian collection, or for a photography or block printing afficionado.
