Original late-19th-century religious pamphlet titled “Second Part of a Dialogue Showing That Satan Has Come Amongst Us as an Angel of Light,” by J.G.B., issued as “Tracts for the Times Series—No. 2.” Measures approx 4.25" × 7.25", 32 pages, printed on lightly toned paper with a plain wrapper cover.

A vigorous Protestant rebuttal to the rise of Mary Baker Eddy’s “Christian Science,” here derisively called “Eddyism.” The text takes the form of a conversation between “J” and “H,” citing multiple Biblical passages (2 Corinthians 11:13-15, Colossians 2:8-9, etc.) to argue that Christian Science is deceptive and un-Christian. Numerous quotations from Eddy’s Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures are included and critiqued in detail.
