Condition
• Volume I: Fair condition; heavy outer wear and rubbing, both hinges split with exposed binding mesh, pages intact but binding fragile.
• Volume II: Good condition overall; outer wear to cloth and corners, inner hinge partly open, insect damage visible to bottom corner of final pages (see photos).
• Both volumes complete with all pages present. Pages show age toning, light foxing, and occasional edge wear typical of 19th-century sets.
