Original February 28, 1906 business letterhead from the Dempster Mill Manufacturing Company of Beatrice, Nebraska, manufacturers of windmills, pumps, tanks, well machines, gasoline engines, grain drills and cultivators.

The ornate printed header is especially attractive, featuring a large detailed factory illustration at left and the Dempster windmill trade mark at right. It identifies the main factory at Beatrice, Nebraska, a wood pump factory at Memphis, Tennessee, and branch houses at Kansas City, Missouri; Omaha, Nebraska; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The typed letter is addressed to Peoples Bank, Pratt, Kansas, concerning the collection of $12.40 from C. G. Rice of Pratt. It instructs the bank to present the amount for payment and notify Dempster if it is not promptly paid.
