The reverse is handwritten:

What makes this card especially interesting is the reverse, which carries a Seattle 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition promotional cancellation reading in part “The Fair That Will Be Ready June 1st to Oct 16th — Seattle 1909.” Similar 1909 A-Y-P Expo postmarks are documented on period postcards.
The image itself appears to be a privately produced RPPC rather than a commercial exposition postcard, so the combination of a vernacular snow scene + personal message + A-Y-P Expo postal marking is particularly nice.
