Wonderful image here with great content! Showing a decorated war shield and a European rifle being held by Striped Wolf. Lots of information on the back. Collectible image as well as historical value. Photograph taken circa 1910 in the USA and the postcard was also made in the USA. Distributed by Indigena Fine Arts Publishers Ltd. Arizona. Some minor surface scratches on this one, though they are small, and don't show up in the photos very well. Take a close look at all the photos so you know what your getting. Great quality here in very fine condition. Collector quality item.
This and a few others were found at an estate sale in Montana among a large assortment of antiques and collectibles including lots of different Native American photos, art and artifacts as well as Asian style collectibles and more RPPC's. This one was safely stored in a picture frame and out of direct light which preserved the bold details and rich color. So true with no fading. Beautiful image. Great addition to any collection.
