Original early 20th century hotel letterhead measuring approximately 5.25 x 8.25 inches, printed for the Silver Beach Hotel, North Falmouth, Massachusetts, and the Hotel Woodbridge, West Somerville, Massachusetts, operated by George E. Ricker. The sheet is folded as mailed and retains its original vertical and horizontal mailing creases.
The letterhead features both establishments in decorative type with period telephone listing (“Tel. 451-3 Somerville”), a wonderful early detail dating it to the 1910s–1920s era. The handwritten content appears to be a lighthearted or poetic note, possibly composed in a rhyme or alphabet style, referencing individuals named Hiram and possibly Clark. Much of the script has faded from fold exposure but remains partially legible.
Condition shows typical age toning, heavier browning along fold lines, and light scattered spotting. No major tears noted. A charming dual-hotel Cape Cod and Somerville Massachusetts piece that would appeal to collectors of hotel ephemera, Cape Cod history, or Massachusetts advertising letterhead.
Authentic period piece related to family, historyor local heritage - well-suited for historical collections, genealogical /genealogy research, or museum acquisition.Vintage or Antique.
