“Documents and newspaper headlines from the 1914 cofferdam construction project. This historic grouping consists of 18 photos, 3 partial newspapers, and 3 documents related to the building and construction of a cofferdam and \"Lock & Dam #43\" back in 1914. The project took place on the Ohio River at New Boston in Indiana and within viewing range from the opposite bank of the river in the lower state of Kentucky. These photographs and papers belonged to William F. Meidroth ~ overseer on the project. A small town was built to accommodate the men and in some cases their families. We see pictures of these homesteads as well. And by reading both the newspapers and by viewing the photographs one gains a well-rounded perspective of the reported million dollar endeavor. Very Good to Excellent Condition, however the newspapers are showing wear.

Because historical documents and photos can easily be scanned and duplicated, all sales of this type of goods are final and there are NO RETURNS.
