1916 Coca-Cola Elaine Tray Likely Original Stelad Passaic 18.75 x 8.5 Vintage.
The design is associated with the 1916 Coca-Cola “Elaine” tray.
This tray measures approximately:
18.75" long x 8.5" wide
The reverse has the characteristic green finish seen on known early examples.
Condition
This tray shows substantial age-related wear consistent with an older advertising piece, including:
- edge and rim wear
- areas of paint loss
- rust and finish loss along portions of the lower lip
- surface scratches and scuffs
- age-related discoloration and patina
- wear to portions of the decorative border
The central image remains strong and attractive overall, with good color still visible.
The lower rim area where a manufacturer mark would normally appear has significant wear and rust, and I am unable to locate a readable maker’s mark.
Because the maker marking is no longer visible, I am describing this tray conservatively as a vintage Coca-Cola Elaine tray / 1916 design, rather than guaranteeing its exact production date.
