This quilt measures approximately 72 x 90 inches, making it an ideal size for a Twin or Full-sized bed, or a stunning wall/couch display.
Design & Craftsmanship: Features an incredibly detailed scrappy diagonal block pattern using a vibrant array of 1920s cotton garment and calico prints. Beautifully framed with clean white sashing. It is entirely hand-pieced and heavily hand-quilted with clean, tight grid lines.
Condition Overall: The top has very bright colors and no fading. There is a spot and a tiny spot on it so please see the picture.
The backing at the seams is heavily crinkled, showing signs of advanced wear and fraying and some tears. Please see pictures.
My great grandmother made these and I have a total of three that I am sadly parting from.
This is a phenomenal heirloom piece (on front and with repairs made to the backing) perfect for advanced antique textile collectors, historical homes, or anyone curating an authentic cottage core/grandmacore aesthetic.
