1920s Rare Santa Claus Candy Container with Light-Up Christmas Tree 9.5\" Tall For Sale

This is a rare 9.5\"-tall Santa Claus candy container from the 1920s. What makes this piece rare is that Santa is holding a small Christmas tree that originally featured three glass bulbs, which would light up using battery power. Currently, only one bulb remains, and there are two wires coming out from the bottom of Santa. His face is made of composition material, and his suit is crafted from felt. He also has a wooden stick and a brass lantern.On Santa\'s back is a brass braided basket that likely held candy. When you lift Santa off the base, you\'ll find a round candy container underneath, which is marked \"Made in Germany\" on the bottom. There is also a handwritten note that reads, \"1924 to Elsie Lysy from Tom Michaels.\" Additionally, there\'s a small paper note in the basket with the same information (not pictured but included).Santa stands on a wooden base, and both his feet and hands are made of composition material.
