This piece is in fine overall condition for its hundred years with no warping, cracks, corrosion, or excessive wear.The wooden sections and target were left untouched, and every brass piece was cleaned up and then coatedwith clear enamel to help keep them in the condition they are now in. The target shows wear on the front,and the slide/clamp is in very nice shape. There are no issues with the wood from one end to the otheron all four sides, and the numbering has not deteriorated over time. The brass end caps, sleave,vernier, cinch knob, and the screws are now in excellent condition with a glossy brassappearance. None of these parts have any issues, and all look fine.
