Green, left regarded as foremost exposition director in America, receives the Gold Medal of the Architectural League of New York presented by Harvey W. Corbett, its retiring president. The Gold Medal is the highest honor the league can bestow and its presentation to Mr. Green marks an unusual procedure. On it was inscribed "To Charles H. Green, in appreciation of his services as an exposition manager, to the cause of art". Mr. Green has managed over 50 expositions, many of them world famous. The recent Architectural and Allied Arts Exposition in New York was directed by Mr. Green. It was said by New York art critics, regarded as the severest in the world, as the greatest achievement ever made in the exposition of architecture and its allied arts.Photo measures 8 x 10inches.
