This a rare copy of the ORIGINAL, vintage, and EXTREMELY RARE Hebrew illustrated HEBREW ALPHABET - ALEPH-BET book which was published around 80 years ago in TEL AVIV - ERETZ ISRAEL ( Palestine ) by DAVAR.
The book was written and graphicaly designed by SHLOMO YEDIDIA ( Or YEDIDIYA ) - ZIELENFREUND , a GRAPHIC ARTIST of Hungarian descent , who specialized mainly in HEBREW TYPOGRAPHY and ARTISTIC DECORATION. He wrote the VERY CUTE children TYPOGRAPHY BOOK - "SABA ALEF BET - ALPHABET GRANDFATHER " where he presents the HEBREW ALPHABET accompanied by numerous ARTISTIC ALPHABET DESIGNS and cute short stories. A PRUFUSION of ILLUSTRATIONS , DECORATIONS , VIGNETTES . Original illustrated HC. Original cloth spine. Size around 7" x 8" . Oblong. Around 40 throughout illustrated unpaged. Overall, this book is in very good to excellent condition. However, this is my subjective opinion, and I am not a grader. It does show use, but writing on pages containing text. Small writing on a corner of a cover as shown in a photograph. Otherwise, the usual issues of toning and gentle use wear. Binding is tight.
