1947 Portable Singer 221-1 Featherweight Electric Sewing Machine With Case For Sale

This little one has been in the closet for many years. I am selling it as-is for restoration. I have not tried to clean it but it will clean up nicely. When I went to operate it the needle wouldn't go up or down. But after a few moments it started operating as it should. The grease or oil had dried up in it. I would suggest a cleaning and service. The case is dirty but in good condition the handle should be replaced. The serial number places it in the 1947-48 time frame.
