This is an original vintage Cadillac automotive piece and not a modern reproduction.Underside is clearly stamped 1455691 along with the manufacturer's marking. This part number is associated with the 1948–1949 Cadillac hood ornament/base assembly and applications including Cadillac Series 60 Special, Series 61 and Series 62.
