The Sealth High School Band tuned up for its appearance at the Seattle Public Schools Music Festival and Pageant last night in the Civic Auditorium. Jack E. Schaeffer, director of music for the schools, sat in front of the band checking the festival program. Nine high school bands, nine high school choirs, ... city high school orchestra, ten junior high choirs and 11 elementary school choirs participated. The program will be repeated at 8 o\'clock Thursday night in the Civil Auditorium as a highlight of the Northwest Division of the Music Educators\' convention, which will open Wednesday in the Olympic Hotel and continue through Saturday.Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches.
