Original 1960 Kodachrome transparency showing the First Evangelical Free Church, historically associated with Brooklyn’s Norwegian-American community, at 6501 Sixth Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. The handwritten notation on the mount reads “66 St. Church Brooklyn.”
The photograph captures a large crowd gathered outside the church along with several period automobiles parked on the street. A wonderful one-of-a-kind Brooklyn neighborhood scene with architectural, automotive, religious and social-history interest.
The image is sharp and well preserved with attractive vintage color. The slide mount has handwritten identification and normal wear from age and storage.
