Rare Vintage 225+ Page "INSTRUMENT FLYING" Department of the Air Force AF Manual 51-37 comes in a flexible black portfolio binder which measures approximately 8-1/4" x 10-7/8". The manual was intended to establish standard instrument flying techniques and procedures for the operation of all fixed-wing aircraft. The following five parts are included in the CONTENTS: Introduction to Instrument Flying; Flight Instruments and Systems; Learning Instrument Flying; Navigational Aids and Procedures; and, Services, Publications, and Flight Planning. A six page INDEX is added at the back.
Highly detailed explanatory drawings, schematics, &tc. are included on nearly every page to accompany the text.
The Vintage "INSTRUMENT FLYING" Department of the Air Force AF Manual 51-37 is dated 1960, superseding earlier versions, and remains in Very Good Condition for its Considerable Age, with only very minor corner creases on a limited number of pages noted from many years of past shelf storage. Please see accompanying photographs.
