Original 1967 Vietnam War-era Phu Bai child’s embroidered souvenir jacket.Outstanding small/youth-size Vietnam souvenir jacket featuring extensive hand embroidery. The back is embroidered “PHUBAI / VIET-NAM / 1967” surrounding a hand-embroidered map of Vietnam identifying locations including Hue, Danang, Qui Nhon, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet, Vung Tau and Camau.Both sleeves feature elaborate colorful dragon embroidery, while the front has an embroidered tiger and the character 福, associated with good fortune/blessing.The extremely small proportions are noteworthy — this appears to have been made as a child’s/youth souvenir jacket, rather than an adult military garment. These jackets were privately purchased/custom embroidered souvenirs rather than standard military-issued clothing.Measurements laid flat:
