Original vintage, early–mid 1970s matchbook from Dudley Riggs’ Brave New Workshop and the Experimental Theatre Company (E.T.C.) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Features both historic locations: 2605 Hennepin Ave S (Brave New Workshop) and 1430 Washington Ave S (E.T.C.). This dual‑address design was used only during the period when both venues operated simultaneously, making it a great piece of Twin Cities theatre history.
Condition: Near mint. Clean, bright, sharp edges, full 28 strikes intact. No writing, stains, or odors. A standout example for display or collection.
Why it’s collectible: Dudley Riggs founded the Instant Theatre Company in 1958, which evolved into the Brave New Workshop—America’s longest‑running satirical comedy theatre. The Experimental Theatre Company opened in the early 1970s, expanding Riggs’ influence in Minneapolis’ performing arts scene.
