1976 Modess Growing Up & Liking It Menstruation puberty booklet Flowers Girls For Sale

Growing Up and Liking it PPC (Personal Products Company) 1976 Approx. 5½”x7” 22p plus 1 kit page Color covers and contents. Consists of “letters” by 3 young girls that are intended to help girls understand menstruation and growing up. Glossary, exercise and anatomical illustrations, ads and order blank on inside of the rear cover. Pamphlet is clean and bright. The cover art is “Flowers by Diane Bradford”, the colorful flowers continue inside beside each letter. This title was introduced in the 1940s and revised over the years. This cover art is a deviation from the usual photographic covers of girls. OCLC records 1 owner for the 1972 version of this Bradford “Flowers” title but this 1976 is scarce. The contents appear to be the same as the 1972 until the final pages, some products changes, kit changes and price changes for the kits. This pamphlet places the order blank inside the pamphlet thus making a more colorful rear cover of flowers. Later versions of this title are revised, the flowers becoming much bolder and larger with pink titles.
