I always use care when packaging items. You can trust that your cards will be shipped the right way, so they arrive in the same condition they left in. All cards come team bagged, in penny sleeves or top loaders when necessary (chrome or more expensive cards for instance), will be protected by extra cardboard, and shipped in a bubble mailer or a box with padding for larger lots.
Shipping is included in the price regardless of how much it costs me, as I have already factored this in. The reason I include it in the price is so you can use any discount codes and offers on the full price of the item, as opposed to having to pay a separate shipping charge, and the discount only applying to the base price.
