This elegant handmade ceramic Christmas tree stands 19.5" tall including the star and features a luminous mother‑of‑pearl white glossy finish that reflects light beautifully. Created by the same artisan who made my other ceramic and holiday pieces, this tree has the warmth, charm, and craftsmanship of true studio work rather than mass‑produced molds.This tree was a custom order made for me in the late 1970s—most likely 1978.

The tree was intentionally left unglued at the light holes, allowing the new owner to customize the look.Since I personally knew the artist, I asked her not to glue the light pegs in so I could change the colors and styles whenever I wanted.It comes with multiple complete sets of ceramic peg lights, including multi-colored butterflies & birds, can be used to create a classic red & green, or a mixed assortment. This flexibility makes the tree easy to style for different rooms, themes, or seasons.The standard peg lights shown are the exact ones included. I used them only in the few spots where the birds or butterflies were too large or where the holes were close together near the top, so it is intentionally not a full set of standard pegs. The tree displays beautifully with the butterfly, bird, or red & green sets, and the standard pegs fill the tight spaces perfectly.It comes with a pre‑wired base that includes an inline on/off switch and a working light bulb. I also glued white felt to the bottom of the base, so it won’t scratch furniture and sits softly on any ceramic Christmas tree by the same artisan who created my other handmade ceramic pieces that are listed on
