Once there was a war, and a young man far from home wrote the following words to his wife and daughter: " My own darling wife and little Etta,"I am getting quite unhapy and quite uneasy at not hearing from you or anybody at home. Three steamers have arrived since Friday night, and not a letter for me. I am still here and really hope you will not forget it.
