Ellis Satcher (front) and his brother, Chester Satcher clean bricks that once made up the Old Cotton Warehouse using a large knife. Brick Cleaning- Piece workers cleans bricks that once formed the Old Cotton Warehouse that was condemned and demolished by workers working for Harvey Vaughn. According to Vaughn the building that was built in 1876 was made out of two of the most sought bricks in the area. These bricks are \"Soft Red\" and New Orleans Hard Tan\". The workers cleaning the bricks are paid $25.00 a thousand and are sold to companies seeking them. According to one worker he can make a minimum day\'s salary when he wants to.
