Up for sale is an exquisite early 19th-century French Palais Royal pill box, crafted in 24k gold-gilded brass and richly mounted with natural banded agate panels.

The box features an elegant oval form with a hinged lid and finely fitted agate top and interior base, displaying beautiful natural striations in warm tones of burnt orange, honey, caramel, ivory, and soft gray. The gilded brass body is decorated with an intricate lattice guilloché pattern, lending the surface a refined shimmering texture characteristic of fine Palais Royal objects.

A beautiful example of early 19th-century French luxury craftsmanship, combining hardstone elegance with delicate gilt metalwork. The proportions are refined and tactile, making it equally suitable for display, collection, or use as a precious vanity object.
