Both cards are marked “Gems of Ausable Chasm” along the mount and “Published by Ausable Co.” Photographer credit along the opposite edge reads E. M. McIntosh, Northfield, VT.
The reverse of each card contains an extensive period printed description headed “Ausable Chasm,” describing the natural formation, waterfalls and rapids, Lake Champlain transportation, local accommodations and access by railroad and steamer.
