Up for your sale is a stunning, authentic matching pair of antique porcelain butterflies crafted by the prestigious Karl Ens Volkstedt factory in Germany. Both pieces feature beautifully detailed, hand-painted wings in coordinating shades of royal blue, yellow, and cream.
-The Wall Plaque (Right): Measures approx. 3" wide. It is designed with three integrated molded suspension holes on the reverse base, allowing it to hang flat against a wall or accent a gallery layout.
-The Tabletop Figurine (Left):
Measures approx. 2.5" wide. A freestanding 3D miniature sculpture, depicting a butterfly perched elegantly upright on a white porcelain base.
-Both pieces feature the authentic, early green Karl Ens mill/cross maker's mark stamped on the underside, dating their production between 1919 and 1945 (Pre-WWII).
Both are in excellent condition with normal handling use.
