2 beautiful custom built cabinets for collectibles, specifically for seashells, but I have used them for all types of collectibles. They were made by a shell collector on St. Pete Beach about 35 years ago. Each has six drawers with glass tops, providing extra protection of your collection from dust. The top is a display covered in glass, making these a real show-stopper for your office, den, craft room or she shed. Drawers can easily be removed and taken to a show, which I have done many items! Each cabinet comes with a suction cup to easily lift the glass lid when necessary. The cabinets are beautifully designed and very functional. If you are a serious collector or hobbyist, these are the best way to show AND protect your collections.
The overall dimensions are 19 x 26.5 inches and 35 inches tall. The drawers are 18 x 24 inches and 4 inches deep.
They are in VERY GOOD condition. Since they have been used daily for many years, there is obvious light wear (two of the glass tops broke but they are easily and inexpensively replaced at any glass shop). The bottoms of each drawer are plain wood, so I have put cardboard (different colors) on the bottom but you can put whatever you want, such as felt or fabric. Not sure what type of wood(s) is used but I would guess birch. The cabinets are fairly light and easy to move once the drawers are removed. I'm moving so it's time to pass these on to another collector. The price is for both- at this time I will not sell them separately. Available for pick up ONLY in West Palm Beach.
