DESCRIPTION:
Lot of 2 genuine padlocks, both sold as-is: a Sesamee brass 4-dial resettable combination padlock (hardened steel shackle, made in Taiwan) — we do not know the correct combination and cannot confirm it opens. And an American Lock (USA) padlock with 2 original matching keys — both keys turn the cylinder correctly, but the shackle will not retract/close, likely a stuck spring or internal debris issue a lock repair hobbyist or locksmith could probably resolve. Good pair for a locksmith, collector, or tinkerer.
CONDITION:
Sesamee: combination unknown, function not verified, some illegible writing/marks on the back plate. American Lock: keys turn correctly but shackle will not push down/close — disclosed mechanical defect. Neither lock is confirmed fully functional. Normal cosmetic wear on both (see photos).
IDENTIFICATION:
Sesamee branded, confirmed via printed logo on the face; "HARDENED" shackle stamp; "Taiwan" stamped on dial housing. American Lock branded "AMERICAN LOCK USA" via stamped face plate; keys stamped "American Lock Company USA."
