Up for sale is a charming, original pair of antique 1910 comic postcards published by Roth & Langley, N.Y. From the popular \"Baseball Lovers\" romance series, these 116-year-old cards feature highly detailed sepia photographs combining early American baseball imagery with romantic humor.
Both cards feature the authentic \"Copyright 1910 by Roth & Langley N.Y.\" text on the bottom border and are unposted (divided backs).
Included Cards:
⚾️\"SAFE\" – Depicting a ballplayer stealing a kiss from a female catcher wearing a vintage wire mask.
⚾️\"PLAY BALL\" – Depicting a female batter at the plate while a player dives out of a wooden crate to catch the ball.

These cards are in original, heavily circulated antique condition. They have not been cleaned or repaired.
\"SAFE\" Card: Shows visible wear to the edges and corners. There is a prominent, heavy diagonal crease/bend on the bottom-right corner with minor paper fraying, as well as a lighter crease line on the upper-right corner. The reverse side has light edge-browning and minor foxing.
\"PLAY BALL\" Card: Corners show rounding and soft edges, particularly the bottom right. The front image surface is in decent shape, but the reverse side features heavy, dark staining/smudging across the lower half from age and storage.Both cards are sold raw/ungraded.
