Large as-found collection of approximately 200 vintage photographic negatives, accompanied by a variety of original period photo-processing envelopes and other associated paper material.
This is an unsearched / unreviewed photographic archive being offered essentially as it was found. The negatives have not been individually cataloged, identified, scanned, or researched. A small number were spot-checked against light and most of those examined appear to retain viable photographic images.
The collection contains various sizes and formats of negatives, primarily appearing to be vintage black-and-white photography. Visible subjects include people, automobiles, outdoor scenes, buildings, interiors and other everyday life imagery. There may be additional subjects of interest that have not been discovered.
Several old processing and storage envelopes remain with the collection and provide interesting period context. Visible material includes an envelope with a 1928 postmark, another handwritten “Canada 1949,” vintage photo-service envelopes, and other handwritten notations. These materials have not been researched to determine whether all envelopes correspond directly to the negatives with which they were found.

Sizes: Various vintage film sizes and formats.
Condition: As-found vintage condition. A small sampling of negatives was examined and most appeared to have good, viable images considering their age. Expect normal vintage photographic-film wear including dust, fingerprints, scratches, surface marks, curling, discoloration, edge wear and other age/storage-related imperfections. Some individual negatives may have heavier wear or damage. The original envelopes and paper materials show substantial age, toning, tears, creases, stains, writing and handling wear.
The entire collection has NOT been individually reviewed, scanned or tested, and no guarantee is made regarding the subject matter or image quality of every negative. Everything shown is being sold together as one lot.
A particularly interesting group for found-photography collectors, photographic historians, archivists, artists, researchers, genealogists, darkroom enthusiasts, or anyone who enjoys discovering forgotten vintage images and social history.
