Pair of unusual vintage handmade coin cocktail / drink stirrers or swizzle sticks.
Each features an antique/vintage coin incorporated into one end, with a long decorative twisted metal stem and polished stone or shell-style ornament to the opposite end.
One coin is a Brazilian 400 Réis, while the second is an older European coin with significant age-related wear.
A wonderfully unusual pair with lots of character, ideal for a collector of vintage barware, world coins, curios or handmade folk-art pieces.
Metal composition of the stems has not been tested and no hallmarks have been located, so they are being sold as unmarked metal.
Vintage condition with tarnishing, surface wear, scratches and patina consistent with age. Coins show considerable circulation wear. Please refer closely to photographs for condition.
