Up for sale is a rare, matching estate lot of 6 luxury porcelain table shakers manufactured by the prestigious German firm of Hutschenreuther (Selb, Bavaria). These elegant pieces features a brilliant white gloss glaze accented by thick, heavy bright gold gilded trim. Each individual shaker bears the authentic underglaze Hutschenreuther hallmark on the base along with the hand written gold overglaze artist signature mark “Anne W. Breinan.

Style: Classical fluted shape with heavy gold gilding on the top caps, footed bases, and body contours.
Material: Fine German porcelain with plastic bottoms.
Conditon: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or structural restorations. The porcelain body is clean and bright. The heavy gold gilding remains exceptional with virtually no shelf wear or rubbing. Rubber stoppers are intact.
While standard factory versions of the Hutschenreuther "Sylvia" pattern are plain white, this particular set is a rare find. It was purchased as a blank porcelain canvas from Germany and custom-adorned by hand with brilliant, heavy gold gilding by mid-century porcelain artist Anne W. Breinin. Because these were independently decorated by a specific artist, this heavy gold variant was never mass-produced, making it a beautiful, one-of-a-kind centerpiece for collectors.
