Paul D. Morrill (1910–1983) served as Ohio State’s Assistant University Architect from 1934 until his retirement in 1967. According to the Ohio State University Archives, he was considered the chief designer of multiple campus buildings constructed between 1940 and 1967. His papers, architectural drawings, sketches, and matted campus prints are preserved by the university.
Six Morrill prints are mounted. The Cleland and unsigned Thompson Library prints are not mounted.
Also included is a heavily worn envelope mailed on December 5, 1969, by The Ohio State University Development Fund, Alumni House, to Dr. Russell N. Brown of Dayton, Ohio. Because the Field House/St. John Arena artwork is dated 1971, the envelope cannot have originally contained the entire group. The pieces are therefore offered as a collected lot rather than as a documented complete set or original 1969 portfolio.

Good vintage condition overall. The prints show minor age-related toning and handling wear but remain visually attractive. Six Paul Morrill prints are mounted; the J.C. Cleland print and unsigned Thompson Library print are unmounted. Mats may have light toning, marks, edge wear, or other age-related imperfections. The original 1969 Ohio State University Development Fund mailing envelope is included but is in poor condition with tears, creasing, staining, writing, and considerable wear. The envelope predates at least one print and cannot be confirmed as the original packaging for the entire group. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition.
