8 Vtg. Woodward & Lothrop pickle forks Souvenir Capitol Building Washington D.C. For Sale

I came across this tiny box of souvenir cocktail forks in the very back of the drawer of my mom's china cabinet, something I had never noticed before. I can remember her talking about the beautiful department store in Washington, D.C. but did not know she had made this souvenir purchase there. These pickle forks have 3 tines, measure 3 7/8 inches long, were made in Italy, and feature the United States Capitol Building at the tops. They are silver-plated, but I do not know what the underlying material could be. There is some aging to the finish, as shown in the photos. I do not serve the fancier style of meals and will not be using these. I personally would consider this set of forks more important as a souvenir from the iconic flagship store that served so many in its heyday, than as souvenirs of the city of D.C. or the Capitol building. Please use the zoom feature on the photos to look them over.Free shipping via USPS Ground Advantage within the United States.Thank you for considering this listing.
