This rare collector’s blade bears the engraving "ARTª. FABª. DE TOLEDO 1882" (Artillery Factory of Toledo 1882). It was declared regulatory by the Spanish Royal Order of the 22nd of December of 1881 for the Artillery, Engineers, Health, Military Administration, Infantry spenders and musicians troops.The sword is approximately 28 3/4 inches long and the blade is approximately 23 1/2 inches long. It has a full tang. This rare sword has a unique blade with a slight wave. Most swords of this kind have a straight blade.The scabbard is made of leather with metal reinforcing at the tip and the top.
